Devotional Reflection
Praise is how we tell God we appreciate Him for who He is, what He has done, and what He is doing now. But praise is more than just telling God how great He is. It is also rejoicing in His greatness and recognizing that not only is His grace unmatched, but also His majesty, power, holiness, faithfulness, righteousness, mercy, love, forgiveness, and justice. God is God, and praise is thanking Him for being God and, more importantly, for being our God.
Prayer
You are a great and gracious God without comparison, and you are truly worthy of my best expressions of thought, imagination, and words. I don't just worship and submit to you; I also celebrate who you are, what you have accomplished, and what you still have to do. My God and Father, you are wonderful. I give you praise through Jesus and in light of His unfathomable love. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Praise is a direct speech to God in which we express our appreciation for who He is, what He has done, and what He is doing. But praise is more than informing God of His grandeur; it is delighting before Him in His magnificence and understanding that not only is His grace without comparison, but so are His majesty, might, holiness, faithfulness, righteousness, mercy, love, forgiveness, and justice. God is God, and praise is a grateful celebration of His being God, and, more significantly, our God.
Prayer
Great and kind God, no one else can compare to You. You deserve my best words, best thoughts, and best ideas. I not only worship You and submit to You, but I also rejoice that You are who You are. I celebrate what You have done, and I long for what You will do. My Father and God, You are wonderful. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.
