Devotional Reflection
If people in our churches are ever going to get along, church leaders need to remind us how important that is. Jesus' last wish was for us to be one. Why? So that everyone could see that God the Father sent Him. Unity isn't just important; it's essential. It's not just a theory or a set of beliefs, but something that people who say Jesus is Lord do every day.
Prayer
All of my prayers have been delivered to our Father by you, Lord Jesus, and I am grateful for this favor. I vow that I will exert every effort to honor our Father, maintain peace, and work in harmony with those who are a part of you. Please grant our church family greater zeal for the unity you long to see. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
If members in our congregations are ever going to get along, church leaders must remind us how vital it is. Jesus' dying request was for us to be one. Why? So that the entire world would know that He was sent by the Father. Unity is not only significant as a theory or theology, but also as a daily practice among those who acknowledge Jesus as Lord.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I thank You for bringing all of my prayers to our Father. I promise to do everything I can to bring glory to our Father, live in peace, and serve with those who belong to You as one. Please give our church family more of the passion You want for unity. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
