Devotional Reflection

LoveGratitudeHopeAwe

Jesus is what makes us righteous, holy, and saved. Let's break down those words from church. Righteousness is being able to stand in front of God and be told you are not guilty. Holiness is a person's personality and actions that reflect the glory and holiness of heaven. Redemption is the gift of freedom that cost a lot to buy. Christians aren't always good. Hmm! This is true, we know. But we also know that God sees us as righteous, holy, and saved because of what Jesus did for us. That, my dear friend in Jesus, is what we call amazing grace.

Prayer

How can I thank you for giving me Jesus, wise and kind Father? Your love in coming up with the plan to send Him, your sacrifice in making Him human, and your pain when one of your own creations killed Him are too amazing to understand. But I know in my heart that you did these things out of your loving grace, and I want to thank you and praise you for the rest of my life. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
