Devotional Reflection
The Gospel is a simple story. The Gospel's grace is wonderful. It's hard to understand what the Gospel cost. The Gospel's victory will never end. Christ is at the heart of the Gospel.
Prayer
Thank you, mighty Lord, for Jesus' triumph over death and the empty tomb. Jesus' death atoned for my sin, and His resurrection secures my destiny. Grace and glory are appreciated. May the power of the resurrection inspire me to live each day to the fullest. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Some things need to be done right away. They are at the center of the problem and are very important. As Christians, we don't have to wonder what those things are that are "most important." The Gospel of our salvation is built on one simple fact: Jesus died, was buried, rose from the dead, and then appeared to His disciples, who were never the same after seeing their resurrected Savior. Let's not let anyone take our attention away from these important truths or make them seem less important by bringing up other things they say are important. Our salvation depends on our faith and how we respond to this simple but powerful Gospel.
Prayer
My dear God, I declare my confidence in Your work for me through Jesus. According to Your Word, Your Son and my Savior, Jesus, was crucified by wicked men. I believe that His dead and lifeless body was buried. As You promised, You brought Him back to life on the third day. It is my belief that those who were most affected by His death, those who knew Him best, saw Him alive again. Their lives have never been the same since then. According to my belief, my Father, as I have professed my faith in Jesus and shared in His death, burial, and resurrection through baptism, my life is caught up with Him in Your redemption and victory over death. I applaud You for Your grace. I appreciate You for this assurance. I look forward to sharing in Your splendor when Christ returns for me. Thank You for my salvation. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
Thank you, All-Powerful Lord, for the empty tomb and for Jesus' victory over death. In the same way that Jesus' death took away my sin, His resurrection gives me hope for the future. We're grateful for Your grace and glory. May the power of the resurrection guide my life every day. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
