Passage Context

55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Victory! The Biggest Win!! If you can't pass life's biggest test, which is death, you haven't won. Every year, the Super Bowl and the World Series are played. The champion is only the winner for a year. But a Christian will always be a winner because, in Jesus, he or she has won over death.

Prayer

God, I appreciate You giving me victory through Jesus Christ. Make His will triumphantly present in me right now, as it will be when He raises me from the dead and returns me to You. As I battle sin every day, in Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

LoveJoyPeaceGratitudeHopeAwe

It's our life! Death no longer has power over us. We've been given the victory! Jesus is the King. What else needs to be said? Praise God!

Prayer

Thank you, Father, for sending Jesus. Thank you, Almighty God, for raising Him from the grave. Thank you for the knowledge that His life is alive in me while I serve You. In Jesus' name, I worship You. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
