Devotional Reflection
Paul told us in 1 Corinthians 6:19β20 that our bodies are not our own and that we were bought with a price. In chapter 7, he tells us again that when we get married, our bodies no longer belong to us, but to our spouses. We should use our bodies to bless, please, and make our marriage partner happy. This is very important for our marriage and to please God.
Prayer
Holy and loving God, Abba Father, please forgive me when I have made myself look bad by not treating my body as a gift to You. No matter if I'm married or not, I want to use my body in a way that is holy and pleasing to You (and to my marriage partner). In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
