Devotional Reflection
Some gifts are too valuable to describe and too wonderful to fully enjoy. The best of these gifts is that we are God's children. We have been brought into the family of the Father. Jesus calls us His younger brothers and sisters. Although the world may not acknowledge this, that does not diminish its validity. It is important to remember that the world did not recognize its Creator when He became flesh and lived among the people He had created. In spite of this, God's Word continues to proclaim the truth: we ARE God's children!
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for the amazing blessing of being your child. I know I haven't even started to understand how wonderful this gift is. But, dear Father, I'm looking forward to what I can learn now about what it means, and I'm excited for the day when I can see you face to face and fully understand what this joy is all about. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
