Devotional Reflection
Two facts, one of which is hard and the other of which is freeing: First, the influence of the devil in the life of a person who continues to live a life full of sin has taken over and tricked them. Then, the Son of God came to destroy everything the devil stands for and give us back our true humanity as people made in the image of God and for His purposes in the world. Where do I stand in this battle between good and evil?
Prayer
King of the Ages, you are the only one who can rule my heart. You are all-powerful and have always won. I promise to stand by you. Please help me as I try to give up my struggles with sin and give me the strength to live my life in a way that is always loyal to you. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
