Devotional Reflection
This world is our journey, not our destination! There are numerous things here that can deter us from our objective and diminish our motivation to continue on our journey. These evil desires are, in fact, at war with us. But by the power of the Holy Spirit, we can say "NO!" and live with self-assurance and integrity in front of a world that is trapped in darkness and so desperately needs God's light.
Prayer
Forgive me, Holy God, for my sinful failures. Empower me, all-powerful God, so that I may approach Your character and holiness ever more closely. Help me, loving God, to live a virtuous life that draws my friends, family, and neighbors to glorify You by living Your way. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
