Devotional Reflection
Unfairly being hurt! Ouch, just hearing those words makes me feel cold all over. It doesn't seem fair or right to do something like that, and it probably isn't. Still, we have many brothers and sisters who are faithful to the only True God and to His Son, Jesus Christ, even though it hurts them and isn't fair. Wouldn't it be amazing if those of us who don't face terrible persecution or hardship started each day by praying for those in our spiritual family who do? In order to honor God, they are showing the grace of Christ in the face of such trouble. Let's pray that our Father will not only give them the strength to keep going but that He will also save them soon!
Prayer
Bless your children today who endure suffering and tribulation while exemplifying the grace of Jesus, O holy and merciful Father. I pray that you uplift my brothers and sisters who are struggling, whether these issues are brought on by persecution or by the trials of life. But Father, I know that Jesus' return is the only long-term solution to this suffering, so kindly send Him soon. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
