King James Version
What does 1 Peter 2:24 mean? βPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
He took on our sins. Not only did He carry them, but He also took the punishment we deserved. His pain was our salvation. His pain was our justification. How could we ever go back to sin after He went through so much to pay for it?
Prayer
I'll never be able to comprehend how a Holy God could watch as my sin and all sin crushed Your precious Son. I appreciate Your great love and Your majesty as God. No one, O God, can even come close to You. Both Your greatness and Your love surpass my wildest dreams. Through Jesus, who took on my sin so that I could become Your child, I will live today to Your glory. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
Holy God, I will never understand how You could stand to see Your most precious Son carrying the weight of my sin and all sin. Thank You for loving me so much and being such a great God. God, there is no one who can compare to You. I can't even imagine how great You are, and I've never dreamed of how much You love me.
