5Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

What a wonderful privilege it is to be led by wise, loving shepherds. However, they will be adored far more in heaven, regardless of how much we respect and love them here.

Prayer

God of all salvation, please bless me as I strive to share Jesus with others. Help me emulate Andrew's reputation for consistently leading people to Christ. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
