Devotional Reflection
How we feel about the word "submissive" is determined by how we feel about ourselves. It's good to have someone serve us, but it's difficult to serve someone else. We frequently behave as though we only care about ourselves. But God works against anyone who is arrogant and refuses to serve others, particularly if those "others" are fellow Christians! We should put on humility on purpose, even though it is difficult to put on the clothing our Father has given us.
Prayer
Father, thank You for mentioning the great figures of faith in the Bible. I'm grateful for all the inspirational religious leaders who have taught me how to live my life. Give them health and stamina. Additionally, Father, I beg You to use me to serve and bless each and every one of Your children, particularly those who have been devoted to You and Your Kingdom for a long time. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
