Devotional Reflection

The word "sanctified" sounds very "churchy," doesn't it? It means to be different from other people and set aside for God's use and glory. We are to be a different kind of people! This is especially true when it comes to staying away from sexual sin. We should stay away from it and honor God with our bodies (cf. 1 Corinthians 6:18โ€“20) while celebrating God's plan for happy sexual fulfillment in marriage (Proverbs 5; 1 Corinthians 7:1-7).

Prayer

Father God, please keep me safe and give me the strength I need to resist sexual temptation in my culture, which is full of it. I want to give myself to You as a holy sacrifice that makes You happy and helps Your people. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
