Devotional Reflection
God wants us to be the kind of people who pray. But God also wants us to pray for other people. The good thing about this kind of prayerful life is that it lets us live peaceful, quiet, godly lives. So pray, my dear friend in Jesus, pray as if world peace depends on it, because it does.
Prayer
Majestic and Holy God, though your greatness is beyond my ability to comprehend, your grace never fails to find me and never ceases to teach me. Please pardon me when I don't have a strong prayer life. Please pardon me for only focusing on the negative in my prayers. Create a hunger in my soul through the power of your Spirit, O God, so that I can only find contentment in you and your presence. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
Your magnificence, Majestic and Holy God, is beyond my comprehension, but your grace touches me and educates me in fresh ways every day. Please forgive me if my prayer life has been lackluster. Please forgive me for focusing my prayers solely on what is wrong. Use your Spirit, O God, to arouse a hunger in my spirit, so that I would seek contentment only in you and your presence. In Jesus' name and by the intercession of the Holy Spirit, I pray. Amen.
