Devotional Reflection
How do you get respect from others while you're young? It's not easy! By being a decent person and leading a good life, you may earn someone's respect. Older Christians need to recognize and encourage younger Christians who are wonderful people of faith. For us younger folks, it's important to lead an unquestionable lifestyle. A Christian must possess excellent character, morality, faith, and love for others regardless of age.
Prayer
Holy God, I give You thanks for the young people in our church family who uphold Your moral standards and lead virtuous lives despite peer pressure to the contrary. Father, I also want to express my gratitude for the more seasoned Christians. They have enabled me to make use of my talents and have advanced my Christian development. For Your glory and the expansion of Your Kingdom, kindly assist us in maintaining the unity of mission and purpose among the many age groups in our church. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
The idealistic passions of youth can't be explained away or pushed aside in a condescending manner. If you are younger, you are not only part of the church of tomorrow, but you are also God's servant today. Serve Him well and show the older people how to do it! If you are older, don't look down on young people's enthusiasm. Instead, encourage it and let it inspire you to be like them. Let's not forget that some of our best role models are young people who serve the Lord with strong faith.
Prayer
Father, thank you so much for Christians who are young adults and full of energy, enthusiasm, and passion. As they grow and mature in your service, help their witness, bless their service, and keep their hearts clean. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
