Devotional Reflection
During the Temple's dedication, Solomon came to the conclusion that this magnificent creation was much too small and insignificant to house the all-powerful God. But God did decide to dwell among us. That was the main focus of His life (John 1:11-18). God is magnificent and beyond description. He is too righteous to associate with sinners. But as God, He made the decision to care for us and enter our world so that we can return to Him and partake in His grandeur.
Prayer
Almighty God and All-Powerful Father, you are more beautiful than my words can say and more kind than my heart can fully understand. Thank you for your glory, which is so great that no one can fully comprehend it, and for your grace, which bridges the vast distance between us. Thank you for being God, dear Father. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
