Devotional Reflection

We are good and kind people because God made us that way. We understand that we are called to share in God's nature and that we will be prepared when Jesus returns. Everything in our world can age and break, but those of us who have committed our lives to Jesus cannot. This assurance is a given for us. We will follow Him with all of our hearts as the solution!

Prayer

Thank you, Almighty God, my Everlasting Fortress, for your wonderful promises. I want to get to know you better and see your face today, just as I hope to in the future. Please keep my heart and me safe from evil. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

God made us to be kind and good, just like Him. We are called to share in the nature of God, and we know that when Jesus comes back, we will be ready. Everything in our world can get old and broken, but not those of us whose lives are joined to Jesus. For us, this promise is a sure thing. Our answer is to follow Him with all our hearts!

Prayer

Almighty God, my Fortress for all time, thank you for keeping your promises to me. I want to get to know you better and see your face right now, just as I believe I will one day. Please keep me and my heart from getting messed up. In the name of Jesus, who gave me to you, I pray with love and gratitude. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
