Devotional Reflection

Wow! Amazing point. God desires for us to live moral lives. He wants us to use what we know and be efficient and productive with it, not just know it in our heads. However, I need to put in some effort to improve in these things. Peter is telling the crowd, "God wants you to get moving and use your lives to change the world!" I'm prepared! So let's get going.

Prayer

I'm going to work hard to increase in Your grace, holy God. Please accept my efforts as a sincere thank you for loving me despite my unlovability and saving me when I was lost. I want my life with Jesus to be fruitful for Your glory. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

Wow! What a point. God wants us to use our lives to do good things. He doesn't want us to just know things in our heads; He wants us to use what we know and be effective and productive with it. But I have to put in some work and try to get better at these things. Peter is saying, "All right, people, God wants you to get going and make a difference with your lives!" I'm all set! Let's start now.

Prayer

Holy God, I will make an effort to grow in Your grace. Please bless my efforts and accept them as my sincere thanks for loving me when I wasn't worth loving and saving me when I was lost. I want my life with Jesus to be useful for Your glory. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
