Devotional Reflection

LoveGratitudeHopeCompassion

God wants us to be ready to help other people. We are fortunate that He gave us the Bible. We can now read the Bible in a wide range of languages, dialects, and versions. This is a great blessing, not a threat. But we must remember that the purpose of the Bible is not just for us to learn it, but for us to live it. God meant for His Word to be full of useful information. It is a gift that makes us ready to do every good thing.

Prayer

Holy God, it still astounds me that You chose to use our own words to communicate with us, Your limited beings. I pray that I never take for granted the wonderful opportunity to read Your Word and discover Your Truth. But Father, if You could, please give me the courage and character to put it into action and let it shape me to carry out Your will. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
