Devotional Reflection
We can't hold back all that Jesus has done for us. We just have to talk about what we've seen and heard. No ruler or threat has been able to stop God's voice from being heard through the testimony of His people. Sharing our faith comes from what we've learned and grown through in Christ and our relationship with Him. When we talk about our faith in this way, people may not believe us or may make fun of us, but they can't take away the truth of what we say. God's hand has been at work in our lives. How dare we keep silent? We can't do it!
Prayer
God of the nations, please speak words of truth and power to your missionaries and ministers, especially as they encounter hostility and mockery. Please bless our evangelistic leaders as they attempt to strategize and discern your way of reaching the lost in our world today. Please help me better understand how to reach the lost around me. I pray in the name of Jesus, who provided an atoning death for both my sins and the sins of the entire world. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
