Devotional Reflection

LoveGratitudeHopeAwe

God is in charge, has all power, and has no competition. So it's amazing that He keeps choosing to bless us with His grace before He asks us to worship and obey Him. In most other religions, the gods want people to follow them, make sacrifices, and obey them before they will help them. But the One True Living God gives us grace and then tells us to do what He says. He has the right to ask us not to have any other gods, and He deserves to be our only God because of how much He loves us and how great He is.

Prayer

Almighty God, You deserve all praise, honor, and thanks. I want my heart to always respect Your greatness and be grateful for Your kindness. Don't let me outlive my love and loyalty to You, please. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
