Devotional Reflection
So often, we look at what God has done in the past and think that He won't show His power to us in the same way. But just as God reminded a new generation of His people that He would go with them and give them power like He had with their parents, we should also expect Him to do more than we can ask or even think of with His power at work in us (Ephesians 3:20β21) and do in our day what we've heard He did in the past with our faith-filled ancestors (Habakkuk 3:2).
Prayer
God, who is all-powerful and able to do anything He wants, we ask You to use Your power to call people to Jesus in our time. Please use us as Your tools to do the great work of redemption, reconciliation, and revival in our time, just like You did in the past. Father, we believe You can save and that You want to. Please do something great to save our generation. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
