Devotional Reflection

JoyGratitudeHopeCompassionAweShame

I still don't understand how people can come back to life. I understand the idea, and I believe God did raise Jesus. When the Spirit works in my life, I sometimes feel that power. It makes me stronger for ministry, helps me love others in difficult situations, comforts me when I'm broken, gives me insight when I study the Bible, and strengthens me when I'm tempted. I feel ashamed, happy, and hungry for more. I want the people I care about to feel this awesome power too. I'm sure you feel the same way. So, let's join together today, thousands of us from all over the world, and pray for God to help those closest to us discover His power and do great things through His Spirit who lives in them.

Prayer

Loving God, All-Powerful Father, please give me the strength I need today to live for You in ways that are wonderful and glorious. But, Father, I don't just ask You to help me do this. I also ask You to give those I love the strength to live for You. (Type in the names of the people you want God to bless in this way.) May we all know that the power in us broke the chains that held Jesus prisoner to death. May we know this power to change and use it for Your glory. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
