Devotional Reflection
People who have been Christians for a long time sometimes forget that we don't deserve the grace we've been given. When we think we deserve it or that it is ours by right, it is no longer grace, and we no longer live in it. Grace is what makes us a part of God's family. For the Holy One who spoke into existence the universe (in which we are a submicroscopic speck), grace is simply and magnificently a gift from the One who knows how to share and love in ways we can't even imagine.
Prayer
I can only fall to my knees and give you thanks, O Almighty God, for the amazing and unending love you have shown me. My understanding of your power is beyond words. I cannot comprehend your amazing holiness. But because of your love, which cost you so much, I have access to your infinite grace. I'm grateful. I'll say it a million times: "Thank you!" In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
We belong!" The Apostle Paul is telling us this. We are not strangers, people with fewer rights, or "Johnny-come-lately" children of God. We belong because of God's grace. We belong to God's home! The apostles and prophets are the building blocks of that house. Jesus is the most important part of that house. We are also a part of this holy house of God, which is hard to believe. We belong!
Prayer
El Shaddai, God of the mountains and LORD God Almighty, the covenant God of Israel, your faithful love has given your people your promises, your grace, and your plans for the future for thousands of years. Thank you for letting me join your people by faith in Jesus and God's grace. Thank you for including me in your family. Forgive me for the times I didn't think I was important to your cause, and help me remember that I belong to you, your people, and your house. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
I can't do anything but fall down on my knees and thank you, Almighty God, for all the love you have shown me. I can't understand how powerful you are. Your great holiness is hard for me to comprehend. Still, I have all of your grace because your love cost you so much. Thank you. "Thank you!" is something I say a million times. In the name of my Lord Jesus. Amen.
