King James Version

Devotional Reflection
Isn't it awful when one part of a body tells other parts of the same body the wrong thing? This is true of diseases and other physical problems. The results could be terrible. Paul tells us that lying in the Body of Christ is just as bad as lying outside of it. Not only should our words be kind, but they should also be true and helpful.
Prayer
Protect my lips from lies and my heart from hypocrisy, O LORD. I pray that my words reflect Your grace and character without lying or using trickery. Dear Father, teach me to speak in a way that will be a blessing, a source of truth, and a source of peace for those who hear me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
