Devotional Reflection

What do you have that will always be with you? Unless it has something to do with the Lord Jesus Christ, not much. So many of the things we love and strive for are empty, short-lived, shallow, and pointless. Grace, on the other hand, comes, stays, and lives with those who love the Lord Jesus Christ. When He is our Lord and our love, neither time nor death can take away our grace in Him.

Prayer

Holy God, I confess that You loved me before I even knew who You were. I admit that I have deviated from Your will despite Your intense love for me. But Father, I sincerely love You and appreciate that You sent Your Son, Jesus. His atonement and Your mercy haven't just given me hope; they've also given me the self-assurance to face whatever today brings. Please use the power of Your Holy Spirit to infuse my heart with love for You and Your Son. May my devotion to You, Father, be as unflinching and unending as Your love for me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Some of the most important things the Bible says about God's grace are in Ephesians. But this one might have the most meaning: whether we accept it or not, grace is given to us. We have a lot of grace and blessings as long as we love Jesus and hold on to His love with strong faith.

Prayer

Holy Father, I do really love You and Your Son Jesus. Please forgive me if I show less of this passion and less of His grace to other people. Give me a strong desire to show how much I love Jesus in everything I do and say. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
