King James Version
What does Ezekiel 18:32 mean? โPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
God calls us to abandon our self-centered ways. He invites us to come to Him and submit to His will. We must be aware that we are taking the road to death if we refuse. God desires to accomplish the work of rebirth and regeneration, but He requires us to turn away from our harmful ways and offer our hearts to Him to be renewed by His Holy Spirit. Repentance is turning away from the path that leads to destruction and toward the path that goes to the Father's house, the place of life.
Prayer
If it's not too much trouble, pardon me, O strong God, for attempting to lead and administer my own life. I admit that I've ruined things when I haven't submitted to Your Word and when I have opposed Your will. I need to turn my heart and life totally over to You. I need to submit to Your will and to live for Your greatness. Thank You for Your pardon and strength as I seek to find life in You. In the name of the Savior Jesus, I pray. Amen.
