Devotional Reflection
One. Simple, straightforward, and easy to understand. By believing in Christ and being baptized into Him, we become one with all the other Christians in the world. We no longer care about race, gender, or social status. One, Jesus, is the only one left. Our lives are tied together because He is in them. We're all going to the same place: heaven. The church is our family. No barriers. No doors shut. We're all one.
Prayer
Father, I'm grateful that You accepted me into Your family. May we unite as one here on earth as we will unite around Your throne in heaven. In order for the world to know there is a solution to conflict, strife, and division, I pray for unity among all those who call upon Your name and share Your Spirit. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.
Is there anything you are wearing today? It is my hope that you are clothed with Christ. No matter what the latest designer fashions are, anything else is simply out of style in heaven. In order to be clothed with Christ, you must give your life to Jesus as your Savior through faith: believe that He is God's Son who died for you, trust that He rose from the dead to give you life, confess Him as your Lord and Savior, and join Him in His death, burial, and resurrection through baptism. According to Him, He will send His Spirit to live within you and forgive all your sins. God will accept you as a child and prepare a place for you in heaven. For Christians such as myself, these thoughts serve as a reminder of what God has done for me and what He wants me to accomplish. If you are not a Christian, the world need not be a cold and lonely place. If you will accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior, He can accompany you wherever you go.

Father, I'm glad You made a way for me to become Your child and wear Your righteousness. Thank You for letting me call You Dad and for letting Jesus be my older brother. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
We have all the rights of full heirs because we are God's children. Our baptism shows the world that we have faith and that we are God's children. We've decided to put on Christ and His righteousness instead of trying to earn our way to heaven. He saves us and gives us hope. He gives us life and makes us strong. He is our big brother and the one who saves us. He rules over us.

Father, thank you for taking me into your family. How can I thank you for everything you've done to make me your child and a rightful heir to your glorious riches of grace? Thank you, Jesus, for giving your life so that I could join your family. In your name, Jesus, I pray and sing praise to you. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
