Devotional Reflection
What's most important? We need to set priorities in our daily lives if we want to be successful and get things done. This is also true for how we live as Christians. We want to pay attention to what is most important and key. Paul tells us what is most important: Faith shows itself through acts of love. Faith that doesn't show up in acts of love and service is dead (James 2). Jesus wants our faith to show itself in service that is full of life and love.
Prayer
Almighty God, please pardon me for the times I have neglected what is important and been preoccupied with unimportant details. I apologize for the times I put my own interests and concerns before serving others in a loving manner. Give me eyes to see the people You want me to serve today so that others may see the love of Jesus. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
