Devotional Reflection
Even though a loving God made us, we are so much more than just animals. When compared to the rest of creation, there is something unique and special about a person. God made us to be in charge of the animals. But rule does not mean ruin! Since Psalm 19 and Romans 1:20 say that creation is part of God's testimony to Himself, we don't want to mess up that testimony. Since we are like God, we want to rule with the same grace, kindness, and care that God uses.
Prayer
Father, help me see the beauty in everything You've made. Keep me from being wasteful. Help me figure out how to make the best use of the natural resources You have given me. Most of all, show me how my choices will affect Your world. May the beauty of Your voice always be present in my world, no matter what I do or how I live. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
