Devotional Reflection
We are made to be like God. Not only the man. It's not just the woman. God made both men and women in His own image. Surprisingly, this was true even before the Fall. When God made us in our mothers' wombs, He made us in His image (Psalm 139:13โ16, Genesis 9:6). God loves people and sees something of Himself in each one of us. This means that each person should be valued. No one should be insulted, put down, or cursed (James 3:9-12). People are valuable not only to God, but also to us, because they remind us of Him in some way.
Prayer
My Almighty Creator, please help me recognize that each person I meet today is a reflection of Your character and nature. As I consciously submit to Your Spirit, please bless me with spiritual growth as I strive to become more like You every day. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
