King James Version
What does Genesis 2:7 mean? โPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
We were made by God. He made our first ancestors out of the dirt and dust of the earth. He made each of us and formed us in the womb of our mothers (Psalm 139:13-16). Like Adam, God breathes His life into us and gives us life. We are His work, His masterpiece. We were made to live life to the fullest (John 10:10) and to do His work in the world (Ephesians 2:10).
Prayer
God, thank you for giving me life. Don't let anyone or anything take my mind off honoring you. Please don't let the evil one make me forget that I was made by you. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
