Passage Context

20And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
22While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Devotional Reflection

One of two things is true. One thing that is true is that tomorrow will come, the earth will continue to turn, and the seasons will change in the way that they are supposed to. The second truth is that God will change His plan. Jesus will come, and we'll all share in His glory. These facts are as certain as the sun rising in the morning and setting at night. In either case, God's promises win over our fears and Satan's opposition. In other words, we win because of God's help.

Prayer

Thank you, All-Powerful Father, for making such great promises. I believe in tomorrow because I know that, unless Jesus comes back, You and Jesus will be there to make sure it happens. In the name of my Lord who comes and wins, in Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.
