Devotional Reflection
I believe! I think that not only does God know me, but that He also cares about me. I think God not only made the world, but also knows how many hairs are on my head. I think that God is not only sending His Son to save the world, but also to bring me home. I also think that God is happy with what I believe.
Prayer
All-powerful, Most-Holy Lord, I appreciate Your unwavering love and unfailing faithfulness. I appreciate Your kindness and mercy. I appreciate Your strength and power. I appreciate Your amazing holiness. I appreciate You for being who You are and deciding to make Yourself known to mere mortals like me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
The foundation of our relationship with God is the atoning sacrifice of Jesus, which we have accepted by obedient faith. That faith is based on the conviction that God not only exists but also truly cares about us and our desire to get to know Him. He longs to be a blessing to those who seek Him. But when we seek Him, we discover that knowing and being known by the one and only real God is much more gratifying than any other benefit!
Prayer
I do want to get to know You better, holy God. Please have a stronger presence in both my life and the life of Your Church. In Jesus' name, I ask it. Amen.
