Hebrews 13:17 Β· KJV
"Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you."

Devotional Reflection
We often don't realize that being better followers is one of the best things we can do to improve Kingdom leadership. Kingdom leadership means that leaders will have to explain their actions to God. Being a citizen of the Kingdom means that we will be held accountable for how well we have followed our leaders' orders and blessed them. What have you done lately to show your church leaders how much you love, respect, and care for them?
Prayer
All power and dominion, O Almighty King, are yours. Only you are deserving of authority and the right to rule. Bless our church leaders so they can lead by serving and emulating Christ. Please give me the ability to follow their example in a way that honors Christ and your kingdom's leaders. May I never be a burden to them or a source of shame for you. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
