Devotional Reflection
So much comfort in one short verse! God isn't unfair—and that's putting it mildly. If He made the sacrifice that paid for our sins, what will He deny us if we seek Him? He will never forget the good things we have done and the work we have done for Him. When we help our Christian brothers and sisters, we bless Jesus. We belong to Him! That's a good reason to keep getting better in Christ.
Prayer
You are so kind, God. I'm grateful. Words cannot express how happy I am to hear such a brief but profound description of Your virtues. I'm so happy to be Your child. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
So much comfort in such a brief verse! God is not unfair — and that is an understatement: since He provided the atonement for our sins, what will He deny us if we seek Him? He will not forget our efforts and affection — an eternal record of what we have accomplished! We honor God when we help our brothers and sisters in Christ! WE ARE HIS CHILDREN!! That is genuine drive to continue growing in Christ.
Prayer
God, You are so gracious. Many thanks. Words can't describe how happy I am to hear such a simple and deep statement about Your good qualities. I am so glad I am Your child. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
