Devotional Reflection
God doesn't react to present circumstances. Instead, He acts in a way that is consistent with a long-term strategy for atonement. He has accomplished a lot, yes. He turned the shouts of "Crucify Him!" into an opportunity to fulfill the prophecies and save us. He has accomplished amazing things and has never broken His word.
Prayer
Holy God, you never cease to amaze me with new miracles and new things. But I know in my heart that you are already familiar with them. Thank you for keeping life exciting and unpredictable so that I can yearn for you, who are always new, wonderful, and fresh. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
The faithfulness of God to carry out His plans and promises is among the many things for which we can give Him praise. Even though many of us are great thinkers and schemers, only God can carry out the magnificent plans that He alone can create!
Prayer
Amazing and magnificent God, thank you for creating such a diverse and lovely world. I appreciate all of your excellent and amazing efforts. We are grateful that you foresaw our need for salvation even before the world existed. Please assist me in making plans that will honor you and bring you praise by making me more dedicated and disciplined. I give you praise through Jesus. Amen.
God doesn't act based on what's going on right now. Instead, He does things as part of a long-term plan to bring redemption. Yes, He has done great things. When people yelled "Crucify Him!" at Jesus, He turned that into a chance to fulfill the prophecies and save us. He has never broken His promise and has done amazing things.
Prayer
Holy God, every day You show me something new and wonderful. But I know in my heart that You already know them. Thank You for not making my life boring or predictable so I can want You, who are always new, exciting, and wonderful. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.
