Devotional Reflection

When we soar on the wings of eagles, it's easy to live victoriously for the Lord. When we run and don't get tired doing the Lord's work, buoyed by His power and presence, it can be exciting. But it often takes heroes to keep going when things are hard and not give up. Brother and sister, keep going. When you think the Lord has forgotten about you, He is there.

Prayer

Give those who can hardly walk the strength to go on despite the stress and attack of the evil one, majestic God, whose voice keeps our universe together. I want to specifically pray for people I know who are going through difficult times. Give them courage and provide for their most basic needs, O LORD. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

What do you do well? Is it just your age? ...your way of life? ...your sense? ...your friends? ...your experience? None of us can count on what we can do. The fragility of life and circumstances can affect health, wisdom, and wealth. Only the LORD can make sure we can make it through the unthinkable, do well in the everyday, and soar in good times. Let's call on the LORD, wait on Him, and rely on Him!

Prayer

O LORD, thank you for being there for me when things were hard. Thank you for making it possible for me to do things for you that I never thought I could do. Father, thank you for blessing me through all of life's everyday ups and downs. I need help and strength from you. I praise and thank you for everything good in my life. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer

A majestic God, whose voice binds the cosmos together, provides fortitude to people who can hardly walk in the face of tension and assaults from the wicked one. I would like to express my prayers in particular for those people I know who are experiencing difficulties. Lord, give them courage and attend to their most pressing needs. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
