Devotional Reflection
God's promises will always be true. He has fulfilled them in many different ways. He has punished wicked nations, redeemed Israel according to His promises, and sent Jesus as a Savior and Redeemer. But most importantly, Jesus stands at the edge of history, waiting to come back and bring full redemption for God's people and salvation for everyone who longs for His return.
Prayer
Supreme Lord, I long for truth, righteousness, and justice to triumph because there is so much injustice in the world. While I eagerly await Jesus' return, my heart also aches for the many people who do not know Him and for those who are disobedient to Your commands. I don't know what else to ask besides that Your will be done, just as it is in heaven, and may Your will come to pass starting with me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
