Devotional Reflection
When we admit our sin, we do two things: 1) see sin for what it is in God's eyes, and 2) get rid of our secrets and be honest with another Christian. James uses strong words. He says that this confession is more than just a way to get forgiven. It also helps to heal.
Prayer
I've sinned, Holy Father. I now repent of the sin that I personally committed. I beg your pardon and the power of your Spirit to help me resist temptation. I want to live for you and avoid allowing any sin, no matter how small, to ensnare me and pull me away from you. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
