Devotional Reflection
Trust. Can we trust God? Is God really reliable? We are extremely fortunate to still be alive today, despite the fact that we might wish we had been around when Jesus was on the earth or when Jeremiah spoke God's harsh truth without fear. The culmination of God's incredible series of deeds is here. History reveals that He was fiercely devoted to His people. Knowing that God is already in the future gives us the confidence to move forward.
Prayer
Holy God, I am aware of Your presence! I am aware that I am not alone in the early hours, late at night, or during the long days. I appreciate You knowing me and being there for me every day. In order for me to properly honor You today, please let me know that You are here. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Trust. Can we believe God? Is God really trustworthy? Even though we might wish we were alive when Jesus walked the earth or when Jeremiah spoke God's hard truth without fear, we are very fortunate to be alive today. We are at the end of an amazing chain of things that God has done. If we look at history, we can see that He was very loyal to His people. We can go boldly into the future because we know that God is already there.
Prayer
Holy God, I can feel You there! I know I'm not alone in the morning, in the evening, or during the long nights. Thank You for knowing me and always being there for me. Please show Yourself to me today as I try to do and say things that honor You. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
