Passage Context

15For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.
16Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,

Devotional Reflection

LoveGratitudeHopeAwe

God knows each of us by name, even though the universe is vast and full of billions of stars, and our tiny blue planet is just a speck of sand on a huge beach. This information seems too good to be true, but it is. God has shown us His love through Jesus to demonstrate that He not only knows us but also cares about us and wants us to be with Him.

Prayer

I appreciate your concern for me, O Great God of the Heavens, especially considering how insignificant I am compared to the rest of the universe. Even though I can't fathom Your love, it thrills me to think that through Your grace I will one day meet You face to face. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

Prayer

Thank you, Great God of the Heavens, for caring about me even though I'm just a small part of your grand work in the universe. Your love is hard for me to understand, but it makes me happy to think that one day, by your grace, I will see you in person. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
