Devotional Reflection
John the Baptist didn't need many words to say that this was the best way to be great. How do you do it? Paul told the Galatians that a similar formula was needed for them (Galatians 4:19). He told the Christians in Colossae that this is what he had worked so hard to make happen in their lives (Colossians 1:28-29). Paul told the Corinthians that the Spirit was doing these things in their lives (2 Corinthians 3:18). So, don't you think this could be the real recipe for your life?
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I want Jesus to be more important in my heart and life than I am. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
