Devotional Reflection
Water is a wonderful gift for those who are hungry and thirsty. We all need water to help us feel better. But Jesus gives us water that we don't have to carry or clean. No, this water comes from inside us. This is the water that comes to us from the Holy Spirit. This is the water that gives us eternal life, which starts now and lasts forever.
Prayer
Father, I know that when I became a Christian, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to live in me. I pray that the power of the Spirit will help me get rid of my stubborn will and my sinful desires, and that my life will show the joy and confidence that Your refreshing presence brings. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
