Devotional Reflection
It's so easy for me to put my own needs and safety first. I don't want to be selfish, but it's so easy for me to only see things from my point of view when I have to decide how to spend my time. But for God's people, it's important to think in terms of "we" and "us," not "me" and "mine." The Israelites from the east had reached the land God had promised them, but they couldn't stop fighting and move there until all of God's people were safe in their homeland.
Prayer
Please, loving Father, give me a more forgiving and generous heart so that I can show a struggling Christian brother or sister today how much You love them. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
