Devotional Reflection
Prepare. Get set. Go! These words from our childhood are still very important to us as adults who want to do what God wants. God wants us to be prepared. But all the personal preparation in the world won't help if we haven't dedicated and set ourselves apart to do what we do to bring glory to God. What do you have planned for the coming year? What are your plans for the next day? What do you have planned for today? Before we "get ready" and "go," let's get ready by giving ourselves to the Lord and His work.
Prayer
Father of Mercies, I am aware that not all of my plans and actions are the same as Yours. Please support me as I commit to reading the Bible and listening for Your will. I want to dedicate my actions and myself to bringing You glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
