"And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,"
King James Version
What does Luke 1:46 mean? โPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
Even though Mary's submission to God's will cost her in ways we can't imagine, if we want Jesus to come to life in people's hearts today, we need to have the same attitude as she did on that night of miracles and mysteries. We must also be willing to work for the Lord and praise Him with our lives and words. The Lord has done great things for us through Jesus.
Prayer
Almighty God, oh Majestic Father, You have done great things for me. You have redeemed me from sin, atoned for my disobedience, and given me the assurance of heaven and the Holy Spirit's enabling presence. You are more powerful than I can imagine, and Your glory is beyond all comparison, yet You reached out to me and, by Your grace, raised me up alongside You. I will never be able to express my gratitude to You in full because You have done more for me than I could ever express in words or in a thousand years. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
You have done great things for me, Majestic Father, Almighty God. You saved me from sin, paid for my disobedience, and gave me the promise of heaven and the Holy Spirit to help me get there. You are bigger than I can imagine, and your glory is unmatched. Yet, you stooped so low to reach me, and then by your grace, you brought me back up with you. I'll never be able to thank you enough, because you're more wonderful to me than words can say or a thousand lifetimes could make up for. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
