Devotional Reflection

LoveJoyPeaceGratitudeHopeAwe

The way the shepherds felt when they saw the baby Jesus is exactly how we will feel when Jesus comes back: we will praise and honor God for all the things we see and hear and find that they are just as God said they would be. Since God kept His promise when Jesus first came, we can be sure that He will do the same when Jesus comes again.

Prayer

Lord, you are faithful and all-powerful, and I am grateful for that. During this hectic yet wonderful time of year, please help me to be faithful to you in everything I say, do, and think. May I never lose hope in the coming of Jesus, and may my belief in Him always influence how I live so that I do what pleases you more. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.
