Devotional Reflection
Some things are simply easy to understand. I should love God with everything I am and have, and I should love other people and treat them the way I want to be treated. These are the two principles that define living for Jesus. Simple to understand. The difficult part, I suppose, is making it happen.
Prayer
Oh True and Living God, accept this day's offerings as a form of worship from the work of my hands, the words I speak, the rest I take, and the love in my heart. I hope you find these pleasing and reviving. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Some things are just not very complex. Living for Jesus may be simplified down to two principles: love God with everything I am and have, and love others and treat them how I would like to be treated. Not too hard to grasp. I think it's the living it that is the issue!
Prayer
O True and Living God, please take what I do with my hands, what I say with my mouth, how I spend my free time, and the love in my heart as my worship to You today. I hope they make You feel good and give You joy. I pray to You in the name of Your Son, my Lord Jesus. Amen.
